If you employ five or more persons then under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order (2005) Employers are now solely responsible for fire safety within their workplaces.
The legislation states that - "The responsible person must make a suitable and sufficient assessment of the risks to which persons are exposed for the purpose of identifying the general fire precautions needed to comply with the requirements and prohibitions imposed under this order."
If you do not carry out a fire risk assessment it may lead to:
- Invalid insurance in case of fire
- Fine or imprisonment
- Legal claims from injured employers
Our fire risk assessments are designed to allow you to meet all the regulatory requirements. We also provide all the necessary documentation to enable you to maintain your records.
